In conversations with ...
A mirror gives the reflection of the body
Another human being the reflection of your soul
It can be valuable to share your story, for example when writing with others, as part of a training course, or with your partner. It can also provide a coach or therapist with valuable insight and help them to identify patterns and themes.
If there are topics that you absolutely do not want to share, you can write them down in a diary for yourself and keep it in a ‘safe’ place.
The Title of this Book
The book, entitled “We never talked about that,” is about the experiences of soldiers on the Grebbeberg during the battles with the German army in 1940, when the Germans invaded the Netherlands. My grandfather never spoke about it himself. What I and the rest of the family know comes from my grandmother, his wife. My mother in particular finds it very sad that her father never wanted to talk about it again. Apparently, this was quite normal at the time. There was a culture of silence.

Sharing = Healing
In Dutch that rhymes.
You can let others read your life story and vice versa. How wonderful and healing it would be to have an in-depth conversation about it together.
One of the purposes of writing, reading, and discussing your life story is to discover patterns. These may also be patterns that have been present within a family for generations.
Mirror of Svyato
Can you mirror happiness? “Svyato” means “happy” in Russian. But it is also the nickname for Svyatoslav, the son of director Kossakovsky. He covered mirrors for Svyato for two years. In this video, Svyato sees himself in a mirror for the first time.
